Job summary

ConFlip in El-Fujairah is seeking an Executive Chef to lead day-to-day kitchen operations, plan menus, supervise cooks, and ensure quality and cost control.

You will train staff, enforce food safety, work flexible hours including nights and weekends, and collaborate with events. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation, quality assurance, portion control, inventory management and cost control.
• Plan special menus for events (weddings, banquets, etc.) and coordinate with suppliers for food supplies.
• Train staff to ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations at all times.
• Monitor kitchen operations to maintain quality standards.
