Job summary

7 Management is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan and coordinate private and corporate events from confirmation through execution, liaising with DMCC and key stakeholders. You will collaborate with operations, AV, and marketing teams to ensure every detail is in place and act as the main client contact for bookings.

The role includes on-site event management, timeline control, and post-event follow-up, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in event coordination within hospitality or similar.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple events at once.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Event Planning & Coordination: Manages confirmed bookings from planning through execution. Coordinates menus, room setups, timelines, and special requests.
  • On-Site Execution: Attends events to oversee setup, manage timelines, and handle any issues on the spot.
  • Client Communication: Keeps clients updated before, during, and after their event. Confirms final details, manages last-minute changes, and follows up after the event for feedback.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Works with operations, kitchen, and AV teams to confirm logistics. Coordinates with marketing on event visuals and promotional content, including photos and videos during major events.
  • Administration & Reporting: Maintains event calendars and checklists. Prepares post-event summaries, tracks deposits and billing, and keeps documentation up to date.

Role Summary
