Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive - BYD is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to support vehicle diagnostics, electrical repairs, and high-voltage systems in our Dubai workshop. You will work across conventional, hybrid, and electric vehicles to ensure safe repairs and high-quality service in line with manufacturer standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of automotive electrical/electronic systems, ECU programming, ADAS calibration, and the use of OEM diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in electrical/electronics/automotive engineering.
OEM certifications in electrical diagnostics or high-voltage safety are an advantage.
4–6 years of automotive technician experience focusing on electrical/electronic systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical faults using approved diagnostic tools.
Perform ECU programming and software updates.
Calibrate ADAS and perform key coding/immobilizer work when required.
Work with hybrid/electric vehicles and high-voltage systems.
Record findings accurately in workshop systems and escalate complex issues.
