We're Hiring | Estimation & Quantity Surveyor (High Rise Building Construction)
We are seeking an experienced Estimation & Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage quantity take-offs, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, commercial monitoring, and quantity measurement for a high-rise building project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction works.
- Prepare and review BOQs, rate analysis, and tender pricing.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Measure completed works and prepare quantity records.
- Prepare and evaluate variations, additional works, and claims.
- Monitor project costs against the approved budget.
- Assist in preparation and evaluation of interim payment applications and subcontractor payments.
- Maintain proper records of quantities, costs, variations, and contractual documents.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Planning Engineer, Site Engineers, Procurement, and subcontractors.
- Identify quantity and scope discrepancies between drawings, BOQs, and site requirements.
- Support final account preparation and project close-out.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in estimation and quantity surveying.
- Experience in high-rise building construction is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, measurement, BOQ, rate analysis, and cost control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD; knowledge of quantity surveying/estimation software is an advantage.
- Good understanding of construction contracts, variations, and subcontractor management.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
