Job summary

Al Marwan Group in Sharjah seeks a detail-oriented Estimator for Piling & Shoring to prepare tenders and cost-effective solutions for foundation projects.

The role requires strong estimation expertise, ability to review documents, quantify, develop BOQs, analyze risks, and coordinate with engineering, procurement and operations teams to ensure accurate bids and timely handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Estimator in Piling & Shoring.
• Strong knowledge of bored piles, sheet piles, anchors, diaphragm walls.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and geotechnical reports.
• Prepare quantity take-offs for piling and shoring systems.
• Develop BOQs and cost estimates for materials, labour, plant and subcontractors.
• Analyze project risks and pricing contingencies.
• Obtain supplier/subcontractor quotations for competitive bids.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and operations teams.
• Submit tenders within deadlines with accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain cost databases, unit rates and market trends.
• Support contract negotiations and project handover after award.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator Piling & Shoring to join our growing team. We are seeking a candidate with strong estimation expertise in piling and shoring works capable of preparing accurate tenders and cost-effective solutions for foundation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents drawings specifications & geotechnical reports
• Prepare quantity take-offs for piling and shoring systems
• Develop BOQs and cost estimates for materials labour plant & subcontractors
• Analyze project risks and pricing contingencies
• Obtain supplier/subcontractor quotations for competitive bids
• Prepare technical & commercial proposals
• Coordinate with engineering procurement & operations teams
• Submit tenders within deadlines with accuracy and compliance

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

• Good commercial awareness and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel AutoCAD and estimation tools preferred
• U.A.E experience will be an advantage
