Job summary

Trevi Group in United Arab Emirates seeks a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer with expertise in piling, shoring and deep foundation design to deliver safe, economical and optimized solutions for complex projects. You will prepare calculations, drawings and reports and coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors to resolve design issues.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree, 4–8 years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of geotechnical concepts and software such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's in Geotechnical Engineering is an advantage).
• 04–08 years of experience in piling, shoring, and deep foundation design.
• Proven experience delivering optimized designs for piling, micropiles, shoring, slope stability, and soil improvement.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering and deep foundation systems.
• Experience in preparing design calculations, reports, and shop drawings.
• Proficiency with geotechnical/structural software including Plaxis 2D/3D, ALLPILE, WALLAP, SLOPE, StoneC, NovoLIQ, S-Concrete, PROKON, ADSec, SCALE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, SAFE, Tekla Tedds, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare safe, economical, and optimized designs for piling, shoring, and deep foundation systems in accordance with project specifications and applicable design standards.
• Design bored piles, CFA piles, micropiles, shoring systems, retaining walls, anchors, diaphragm walls, secant piles, and ground improvement solutions.
• Perform geotechnical and structural analysis for foundation systems, ensuring stability, constructability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Carry out slope stability, soil liquefaction, and soil improvement analyses for infrastructure and building projects.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, engineering reports, and technical submissions for client and consultant approval.
• Develop construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and other engineering software.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve design and technical issues.
• Review geotechnical investigation reports and recommend suitable foundation solutions based on site conditions.
• Provide technical support during project execution and assist in resolving site-related engineering challenges.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant international standards, UAE regulations, and project specifications.
• Participate in value engineering initiatives to optimize designs while maintaining safety, quality, and project requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation of design calculations, revisions, and project records throughout the design process.
