Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate, commercially competitive estimates, cost plans, BOQs and quotations for structural steel, aluminium and architectural metalwork in Dubai. You will review tender and project documents, interpret drawings and specs, and develop quantities and costed options.

The ideal candidate will have strong UAE market knowledge, be proficient in Excel and AutoCAD, and able to propose value-engineered solutions, evaluate suppliers, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in estimation for steel/aluminium projects.
• Experience with BOQ preparation, tendering and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of UAE market pricing and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specs and contracts to prepare cost estimates.
• Develop detailed BOQs covering materials, fabrication, installation and labour.
• Prepare quantities from drawings and specifications and perform take-offs.
• Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations and evaluate commercially and technically.
• Prepare tender summaries and assist with final tender submissions.
• Support handover and post-tender pricing discussions.
