Phoenician Technical Services in Dubai is seeking an Estimation Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender submissions for landscaping projects, ensuring alignment with drawings, specs, and tender requirements.

The ideal candidate will review documents, perform detailed take-offs for softscape, hardscape, irrigation, and related infra, and coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to deliver competitive, on-time

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil/mechanical eng, QS or related field.
• 2–3 years UAE experience in estimation and tendering for landscaping, irrigation, or construction.
• Knowledge of softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems and landscape construction materials.
• Ability to read landscape drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD; familiarity with estimation software is a plus.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines.

Mansioni

• Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings, specs and project requirements.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for softscape, hardscape, irrigation and landscape infra.
• Calculate quantities and costs for plants, soil, paving, decking, and related materials.
• Estimate costs for irrigation networks: pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, controllers.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare rate analyses for materials, labor, equipment, transport and installation.
• Calculate direct and indirect costs, overheads, contingencies and margins.
• Prepare BOQs, tender pricing sheets and cost breakdowns.
• Coordinate with technical, design, procurement and project teams.
• Conduct site visits to assess site conditions and cost factors.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information and risks in tender documents.
• Compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and compliance.
• Ensure tender submissions are accurate, complete and timely.
• Maintain records of quotations and material rates.
• Prepare variation quotations and revised estimates.
• Support budget preparation, cost monitoring and cost control.
