Phoenician Technical Services in Dubai seeks an experienced Irrigation Engineer to design and manage irrigation projects. You will handle layouts, hydraulic calculations, equipment schedules, and site inspections to ensure high-quality installations.

The role involves supervising installation, testing, and commissioning, coordinating with landscaping, civil, electrical, and MEP teams, and optimizing water use through intelligent scheduling.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or Civil Engineering with landscaping experience.
• 2–4 years of irrigation design experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Experience with AutoCAD, GIS, and irrigation controllers.
• Knowledge of local regulations and standards.

Mansioni

• Design irrigation systems including drip, sprinkler, and misting systems.
• Prepare irrigation layouts, hydraulic calculations, equipment schedules, BOQs, and specs.
• Review irrigation drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Select pumps, pipes, valves, sprinklers, controllers, filters, and other equipment.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess irrigation requirements and site conditions.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Monitor contractors to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, standards, and schedules.
• Coordinate irrigation works with landscaping, civil, electrical, MEP, and other project teams.
• Troubleshoot system failures, pressure issues, leaks, blockages, and control-system problems.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure reliable performance.
• Optimize water consumption through design, automation, and scheduling.
• Inspect completed works and prepare snag lists and handover documentation.
• Maintain records of irrigation assets, maintenance activities, water consumption, and system performance.
• Ensure compliance with engineering, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Provide recommendations for irrigation improvements and system upgrades.
