Job summary

Oasis Investment Company (Al Shirawi Group) in Dubai seeks a skilled tendering engineer to review HVAC project documents and develop detailed cost estimates. You will coordinate with design, procurement and project teams to ensure accurate take-offs and competitive supplier quotes.

The role involves preparing RFQs, evaluating quotations, and supporting commercial negotiations to meet project deadlines and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing tender documents, BOQs and HVAC drawings.
• Ability to prepare cost estimates for equipment, materials and labour.
• Strong analytical skills and coordination with design and procurement teams.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, HVAC drawings, specifications, and BOQs to understand project requirements.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for HVAC systems, including ductwork, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, insulation, and related accessories.
• Prepare cost estimates for HVAC equipment, materials, labour, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare RFQs and follow up with suppliers to obtain competitive prices.
• Analyse supplier quotations and compare technical and commercial offers.
• Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project teams to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Identify discrepancies, omissions, and potential risks in tender documents.
• Prepare cost breakdowns, rate analysis, and tender submissions within the specified deadlines.
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimisation without compromising quality or technical requirements.
• Maintain records of quotations, cost estimates, and tender documentation.
• Participate in tender clarification meetings and provide support during commercial negotiations.
• Ensure estimates comply with project specifications, applicable standards, and company procedures.
