Inproserv is seeking a Junior Estimating Engineer to support epoxy flooring and protective coating projects in the UAE. You will assist in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, supplier enquiries, and tender preparation while helping develop accurate pricing and competitive proposals.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of estimation and tendering experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects.
• Proven experience in industrial painting, protective coatings, waterproofing, insulation, and fireproofing estimation.
• UAE/GCC project experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Review RFQs, BOQs, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and pricing schedules for painting, coatings, waterproofing, insulation, and fireproofing works.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Assess project scope, risks, assumptions, exclusions, and cost optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate with Business Development, Operations, Procurement, and Technical teams to ensure timely bid submissions.
• Prepare commercial proposals, tender clarifications, and estimate summaries.
• Support variation pricing, client clarifications, negotiations, and project handover.

About Your Team

You will work closely with estimating, project, procurement, and technical teams to prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for epoxy flooring and protective coating works. You’ll also coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and applicators to obtain quotations, review material and labour costs, and clarify technical requirements, ensuring proposals reflect the project scope and specifications.

Your Role

As an Estimating Engineer - Jnr, you will:

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of estimation and tendering experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects.
• Proven experience in industrial painting, protective coatings, waterproofing, insulation, and fireproofing estimation.
• UAE/GCC project experience preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong quantity take‑off, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; AutoCAD and ERP knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, commercial, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Valid UAE driving licence
• Strong technical and analytical problem‑solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective planning and organisational abilities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
