Job summary

AIQ, an Abu Dhabi-based technology company focused on industrial AI for the energy sector, seeks a Specialist - Legal & ESG (Paralegal) to support the General Counsel with contract administration, governance and compliance, and help advance ESG initiatives.

You will coordinate with internal teams, manage documents, maintain records, and assist ESG data collection and reporting in line with frameworks such as GRI, SASB and TCFD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Sustainability, Compliance, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in a legal operations, paralegal, contract administration, compliance, governance, or ESG-related role.
• Experience supporting legal teams in a corporate environment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of contracts, corporate governance principles, and legal documentation.
• Familiarity with ESG concepts and reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, UN SDGs) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support contract lifecycle management, including tracking status, renewals, obligations, and milestones.
• Assist in governance activities: records, approvals, delegations, conflicts of interest.
• Coordinate with Finance, HR, Procurement, Technology, and Operations on legal matters.
• Support ESG data collection, reporting, disclosures, and documentation.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and prepare ESG presentations and materials.
