Job summary

Astra Tech is seeking a Senior Manager for Data Protection and ESG to design, implement and sustain compliance frameworks across licensed entities globally, including UAE regulators (CBUAE, FSRA, DFSA) and ADGM/DIFC authorities. You will own RoPA, DPIA, LIA, DSR and incident response, coordinating with Legal, Risk and Procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in data protection, privacy, ESG, compliance or regulatory advisory, commensurate with Senior Manager grade.
• At least 5 years in a dedicated data protection or DPO or ESG lead capacity.
• Significant experience within financial services, ideally including entities regulated by CBUAE, FSRA and DFSA.
• Proven track record of leading regulatory gap assessments and end-to-end remediation programs.
• Experience implementing an Enterprise-wide Consent Management capability across digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on data protection and ESG regulatory strategy across multiple jurisdictions.
• Own regulatory filings, incident reporting and liaison with regulators (CB UAE, FSRA, DFSA, ADGM, DIFC).
• Maintain RoPA, data inventories and DPIA/ LIA processes for new products and services.
• Embed data protection and ESG clauses into MSAs, DPAs and vendor contracts.
• Lead training on data protection and ESG for the group and senior management.
