Job summary

Dubai Municipality is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform repair works for equipment, devices, electrical circuit breakers, remote control switches and related components. You will record maintenance tasks on work orders and monitor readings to ensure proper operation.

This role requires a High School Certificate; no previous experience is required. You will prepare requisition forms for materials, coordinate warehouse availability, and respond to emergency calls outside normal hours

• Carry out repair works for equipment, devices, electrical circuit breakers, remote control switches, and other related components.
• Prepare requisition forms for materials and spare parts required for maintenance activities and coordinate their availability from designated warehouses. Prepare local purchase requests for unavailable parts in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls outside official working hours in cases of unexpected breakdowns, especially during weekends, public holidays, and festive occasions.
• Record maintenance and repair tasks on work orders for each piece of equipment and device, including the type of work performed and the time spent on each task, and enter the information into the computer system efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor equipment and device readings to ensure their proper operation and preservation, and perform the required maintenance within the scheduled timeframes.
