Job summary

Joud Coffee in Abu Dhabi is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine inspections and maintain equipment, electrical systems, HVAC, and building services. The role includes diagnosing issues, repairing systems, and executing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The candidate will assist in setting up ventilation and refrigeration, keep records of activities, and coordinate with the Facility Manager. Flexibility for after-hours support may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and maintenance tasks on equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure they are in good working condition and meet health and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems, including replacing light bulbs and sockets, and cleaning and repairing circuit breaker panels.
• Diagnose and repair equipment and facility-related problems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems, and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Implement a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize equipment downtime and extend the life of assets.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system failures, taking appropriate corrective action.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when necessary
• Respond to facility and equipment emergencies promptly, including outside regular working hours when necessary.
• Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and spare parts needed for maintenance and repairs.
• Place orders for supplies and spare parts as and when necessary.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Communicate effectively with the Facility Manager and other team members to coordinate maintenance activities.
• Address maintenance issues and elevate to the Facility Manager when additional support or approval is required.
