Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Abu Dhabi to perform repair works on electrical equipment, circuit breakers and related devices. The role requires preparing material requisitions and coordinating parts from warehouses, as well as handling local purchase requests as per procedures.

Applicants should be prepared to respond to emergencies outside regular hours and document all maintenance tasks on work orders, ensuring accurate time tracking and data entry into the system.

Qualifications

• Repair and maintenance skills for electrical/electronic equipment and components.
• Attention to safety and compliance when performing repairs.
• Ability to document work accurately and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair works for equipment, devices, electrical circuit breakers, remote control switches, and other related components.
• Prepare requisition forms for materials and spare parts required for maintenance activities and coordinate their availability from designated warehouses.
• Prepare local purchase requests for unavailable parts in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls outside official working hours in cases of unexpected breakdowns, especially during weekends, public holidays, and festive occasions.
• Record maintenance and repair tasks on work orders for each piece of equipment and device, including the type of work performed and the time spent on each task, and enter the information into the computer system efficiently and accurately.
