Job summary

RTC1 Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist for Abu Dhabi, UAE, on a full-time basis. You will train operations and maintenance personnel on new procedures and monitor food wastage records.

You will conduct regular water quality testing to ensure treated water meets regulatory standards and maintain compliance with environmental protocols. Oversee the Detailed Engineering scope with the COO and ensure QA/QC inspections and third-party checks align with project

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of environmental experience, offshore preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, monitoring, waste management, spill response.
• Valid offshore certifications: BOSIET/FOET, HUET, H2S and offshore medical.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Provide training and guidance to operations and maintenance personnel on new procedures, protocols, and best practices resulting from process improvements, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and implementation and monitors the food wastage and keep records.
• Conduct regular water quality testing and analysis using appropriate instruments to ensure treated water meets regulatory and quality standards.
• Oversee the complete execution and delivery of the Detailed Engineering scope assigned to the project, with the full support of the engineering team led by COO.
• Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure all works meet project specifications and standards, including inspections and third-party checks.

Qualifications:

• Male with a minimum of 3–5 years of environmental experience, preferably within offshore construction.
• Good knowledge of ISO 14001, environmental monitoring, waste management, spill response, and marine pollution control.
• Valid BOSIET/FOET, HUET, H2S, and Offshore Medical certification are required. ISO 14001 certification is an advantage.
