Job summary

Black & Grey HR Consultancy FZE is seeking an experienced HSE Officer – Offshore to join our client's offshore operations team in Abu Dhabi on a permanent basis. The role requires promoting safe working practices, conducting inspections, supporting emergency response, and maintaining HSE reporting.

You should have a Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering or equivalent, NEBOSH/IOSH, ADNOC HSE Passport, ISO 14001/45001, and 6–7 years in HSE with offshore experience; fluent English; Arabic optional.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• NEBOSH or IOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE certification.
• ADNOC HSE Passport holder.
• ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 Auditor Certification.
• 6–7 years HSE experience, including offshore experience.
• Experience in offshore, marine, oil & gas industries desirable.
• Fluent in English; Arabic advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of HSE inspections, risk assessments, incident investigation and reporting.
• Ability to work in offshore environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement company, client, and project HSE policies offshore.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections of work areas, equipment, and practices and report deviations.
• Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness programs.
• Support emergency response activities, including medical evacuations and drills.
• Coordinate with offshore operations teams to ensure emergency preparedness and response procedures.
• Participate in investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses and assist with corrective actions.
• Monitor inspection and maintenance of lifesaving, firefighting, and emergency equipment.
• Attend and facilitate offshore HSE meetings and coordinate with clients and operational teams on HSE matters.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports, statistics, observations, and incident documentation.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with applicable HSE standards and safe working practices.

Black & Grey HR is seeking an HSE Officer – Offshore to join our client's offshore operations team on a permanent basis in Abu Dhabi, working on a 90/30 rotation. The role will be responsible for managing HSE activities at offshore project sites, ensuring compliance with company, client, and project HSE requirements. You will work closely with offshore operations teams to promote safe working practices, conduct inspections and toolbox talks, support emergency response, investigate incidents, and maintain accurate HSE reporting.

Requirements-

• Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• - NEBOSH / IOSH Diploma or an equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification.
• - ADNOC HSE Passport holder
• - ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 Auditor Certification.
• - 6–7 years of HSE experience, including a minimum of 2 years of offshore experience in a similar role.
• - Strong knowledge of national, international, and client-specific HSE standards.
• - Experience in offshore, marine, oil & gas, energy, or related industries is highly desirable.
• - Strong knowledge of HSE inspections, risk assessments, incident investigation, emergency response, and reporting.
• - Fluent in written and spoken English. Arabic would be an advantage.
• - Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, organizing, and analytical skills.li>
• - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong report-writing skills.
• - Ability to work effectively in offshore and challenging operational environments.
