Job summary

NMDC Dredging & Marine seeks an HSE Engineer to lead environmental, health, and safety efforts on dredging and civil marine projects. Develop and implement environment management plans, conduct audits, investigate incidents, liaise with authorities and clients, and compile technical reports.

You will coordinate with external agents, support project teams, ensure compliance with CEMP, EIA, PER and NMDC EMS, and participate in onshore and offshore activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, OHSE, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role and industry; dredging and civil marine project experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Review and implement environmental studies (HSIEA, EIA, CEMP) with client and external agents.
• Support EMS adherence and environmental project plans.
• Report to Environmental Superintendent on project environmental issues.
• Conduct internal audits of management systems and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with external labs, consultants, and engineering firms.
• Prepare environment submittals for tenders and proposals.
• Investigate incidents and report findings.
