Job summary

NMDC Group is seeking a Senior HSE Engineer to guide HSE strategy on EPC and marine construction projects in Abu Dhabi. You will provide HSE guidance to line management, conduct audits, and manage risk assessments to improve safety and environmental performance.

The role involves implementing HSE plans, coordinating training, and leading emergency response activities. Bachelor’s in engineering or related field with NE-BOSH/IOSH/OSHAD is required; ISO 14001/45001 experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with HSE focus.
• NE-BOSH / IOSH / OSHA / OSHAD certification or equivalent.
• Experience with ISO 14001/45001 and HSEMS implementations and audits.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead HSE activities for projects.
• Audit project sections per HSEMS, EMS, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Conduct Behavioural Safety Audits and HSE tours.
• Develop and implement site HSE plans and emergency procedures.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate health, fire, and environmental inspections and training.
• Support risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis across operations.
• Maintain safety equipment inventory and ensure inspections.”
• Participate in emergency response and incident reporting to management.
