Job summary

NMDC Dredging and Marine BU seeks a Health, Safety and Environment professional to ensure strict adherence to NMDC Group HSE policies at the UAE site. You will conduct site inspections, lead inductions, and drive environmental awareness among field personnel.

Responsibilities include reporting Observations, verifying scope-specific HSE requirements, coordinating with management for drills, and contributing to incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a related field or equivalent.
• NEBOSH or IOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE certification preferable.
• Experience implementing HSE policies and conducting training is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees consistently implement the Company’s HSE policies and procedures.
• Promote HSE awareness to field personnel to develop Environmental awareness.
• Conduct onsite inspections and daily tours to ensure compliance with NMDC Group HSE standards.
• Identify and report Environmental Observations and LSR violations.
• Verify HSE requirements for each work scope and FRA control measures.
• Monitor subcontractors’ HSE performance and NMDC standards.
• Deliver HSE induction and conduct emergency drills with site teams.
• Assist in accident/incident and near-miss investigations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly site HSE reports and statistics.
