Job summary

KBR is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support the Environmental and Sustainability Manager in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on implementing environmental management systems, coordinating with consultants, regulators, and contractors, and promoting sustainable initiatives across a broad program for ALDAR EMS compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related science, 10+ years in environmental management within construction, and experience with ISO 14001 EMS Lead Auditor

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related science.
10+ years of environmental management experience in construction.
ISO 14001 EMS Lead Auditor certification.
Middle East / Abu Dhabi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily environmental management system implementation.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulators.
Support compliance with ALDAR EMS and regulatory requirements.
Promote environmental initiatives and best practices across the program.
Prepare monthly environmental project monitoring plans.
