Job summary

Kong Inc. in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Solution Engineer to join the Sales organization. You will align with Account Executives and lead the technical sale cycle for Enterprise & Strategic accounts in the UAE region.

You will support PoCs, onboard customers, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure customer success while evangelizing Kong API Management solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of pre-sales Solution Engineering or relevant experience in SaaS, Open-source or Enterprise Software.
• Experience working with Open-source technology.
• Foundational knowledge of API Management & Integration, Cloud trends, Open-source business models.
• Confident presenting and leading discussions with C-level executives, Product Managers and Engineers.
• Enthusiasm for a fast-paced startup culture.

Responsibilities

• Support field sales in demonstrating Kong API Management & Connectivity solutions.
• Grow trusted client relationships across the entire sales lifecycle from discovery to production.
• Assist PoCs throughout evaluation processes.
• Onboard and train new customers and establish revenue potential with existing customers.
• Coordinate with support, product, and engineering teams to prioritize customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Create technical documentation for DevOps, implementations, and services engagements.
• Participate in lead generation activities such as blogs, webinars, and events.
