Job summary

GBM is seeking a Data & AI Presales Engineer to drive enterprise AI adoption across the GCC. You will translate business problems into architectures, demonstrations and proof‑of‑concepts, acting as a trusted technical advisor to strategic accounts.

The role requires deep hands-on expertise with watsonx and other enterprise AI platforms, plus strong data governance and regional travel across the GCC. Arabic language ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise tech, 5+ years in data/AI, presales or architecture.
• Hands-on with IBM watsonx or equivalent platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock).
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG, agentic AI and orchestration frameworks.
• Data lakehouse, data integration, quality, catalog and lineage basics.
• Python and common AI/ML tooling; quick prototype capability.
• Experience leading presales with CIOs/CDOs and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical presales for Data & AI opportunities across GCC.
• Act as trusted advisor; run workshops and shape AI roadmaps for clients.
• Design end-to-end architectures from discovery to deployment and governance.
• Build demos, proofs of concept and value engagements with clear criteria.
• Maintain expertise across watsonx portfolio and governance capabilities.
• Own technical content for proposals, sizing and BOMs; assist delivery handover.
• Collaborate with Data Solution Consultant and AI Engineers for assets.
• Address responsible AI, data residency and GCC regulatory needs.
• Contribute to thought leadership, events and partner enablement.
