Job summary

Ghobashgroup seeks a Business Application Consultant to provide end-to-end support, configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise business applications (excluding Oracle ERP and CRM).

You will partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, map processes, deliver user training, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate enhancements and integrations to ensure high availability and data integrity across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business application support, systems administration, or a related IT role.
• Ability to understand, analyze, and document business requirements and map end-to-end business processes.
• Strong functional knowledge of standard business processes across HR, finance, procurement, operations, and asset management.
• Proven ability to configure, administer, and support diverse business applications and portals.
• Experience in coordinating with vendors and managing support escalations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional support and incident resolution for all business applications across the enterprise portfolio (excluding Oracle and CRM platforms).
• Act as the first point of contact for business users, triaging, diagnosing, and resolving application issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct discovery sessions and workshops with department stakeholders to understand workflows and requirements.
• Perform process mapping and gap analysis to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Document and maintain business requirements, specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Manage application configuration, user setup, role-based access, and system administration tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors for issue escalation, patch management, and upgrades.
• Design, plan, and execute user acceptance testing for new releases and integrations.
• Deliver end-user training programs and knowledge base content to ensure adoption.
• Collaborate with IT security and integration teams to ensure data exchange and system performance.
• Monitor dashboards and mitigate risks to data integrity.
• Support project delivery for application implementations and enhancements.
