Job summary

Ghobash Group seeks a Business Application Consultant to provide end-to-end support, configuration, and ongoing improvement of enterprise business applications (excluding Oracle ERP/CRM). You will partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, map processes, train users, and coordinate vendor activities to ensure data integrity and high availability.

The role requires 5+ years in business application support or related IT work, strong documentation and communication skills, and a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business application support, systems administration, or a related IT role, with hands-on experience supporting multiple enterprise applications across diverse business functions.
• Ability to understand, analyze, and document business requirements and map end-to-end business processes.
• Strong functional knowledge of standard business processes across HR, finance, procurement, operations, and asset management.
• Proven ability to configure, administer, and support diverse business applications and portals.
• Experience in coordinating with vendors and managing support escalations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional support and incident resolution for all business applications across the enterprise portfolio, excluding Oracle and CRM platforms.
• Act as the first point of contact for business users, triaging, diagnosing, and resolving application issues in a timely manner per SLAs.
• Conduct discovery sessions and workshops with department stakeholders to understand workflows and requirements.
• Perform process mapping and gap analysis to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
• Document and maintain business requirements, functional specs, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Coordinate with vendors for issue escalation, patch management, and upgrades.
• Plan and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) for releases and enhancements.
• Deliver end-user training and maintain knowledge base content.
• Collaborate with IT security and integration teams to ensure performance and data integrity.
