Job summary

Cohere is seeking a deployment engineer to lead North deployments in private cloud and on-prem environments, partnering with enterprise IT teams and customers. You will plan, configure, test, and roll out solutions while maintaining security and data privacy standards.

You'll design deployment strategies tailored to client needs, troubleshoot issues, and drive successful outcomes with a focus on speed, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Travel 20–40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying enterprise software in private/hybrid cloud environments.
• Proven experience administering large-scale production Kubernetes clusters and Helm.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments, including planning, configuration, testing, and rollout.
• Partner with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure, security requirements, and data management practices.
• Experiment at a high velocity and with a high level of quality to engage our customers and deliver solutions that exceed expectations
• +Design and implement deployment strategies tailored to client needs, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related technical issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Travel to customer premises between 20-40%
