Role Context

The English Teacher will develop students ' command of language while cultivating thoughtful engagement with literature and increasingly sophisticated forms of communication. Teaching will integrate close reading, analytical and creative writing, speaking and listening so learners become precise, confident and independent users of English. With Year 10 opening in September 2027 and subsequent growth towards Year 13, the postholder will contribute to curriculum sequencing, assessment standards and resources that prepare students for GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature and future advanced study.
