Overview

English Teacher – Primary Secondary in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role requires teaching English across primary and secondary levels, supporting literacy, communication and academic development.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver English lessons for primary and secondary students in line with the school curriculum.
• Develop comprehensive teaching plans that support literacy growth, language confidence, and academic achievement.
• Teach reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, and literature-based activities.
• Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages participation, discipline, creativity, and independent thinking.
• Use varied teaching methods, classroom resources, digital tools, and practical activities to support different learning needs.
• Assess student progress through classwork, assignments, tests, written tasks, projects, and regular feedback.
• Maintain accurate lesson plans, attendance records, assessment data, student progress notes, and academic documentation.
• Support students in building communication skills, written expression, analytical thinking, and confidence in English.
• Identify students who require additional support and provide suitable guidance to improve learning outcomes.
• Work with coordinators, department heads, and teaching colleagues to maintain curriculum quality and school standards.
• Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues regarding student progress when required.
• Contribute to school activities, literacy programs, assemblies, academic events, and student development initiatives.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in English.
• B.Ed qualification preferred or required.
