Aldar Education is seeking a Teacher - English EAL for its Abu Dhabi schools, commencing August 2027. The role focuses on delivering English teaching, supporting learners of varied abilities and language needs within an inclusive environment.

The successful candidate will plan differentiated lessons, use assessment data, and contribute to curriculum development while maintaining high expectations in academics, behaviour, and attendance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• English National Curriculum teaching experience.
• Experience teaching across different ages and ability levels.

Responsabilités

• Create a positive learning environment that supports high-quality classroom practice.
• Establish clear teaching and learning objectives.
• Plan structured lessons and learning activities that maintain pace, challenge, and engagement.
• Identify SEN, POD, EAL, and gifted and talented students and address their learning needs through differentiation.
• Use assessment for learning effectively to evaluate understanding and guide subsequent teaching.
• Apply performance data and key indicators to lesson planning and differentiated instruction.
• Use ICT appropriately to enhance learning and student progress.
• Maintain high expectations for academic work, punctuality, behaviour, and homework.
• Attend and support parent and student events and provide parents with clear information regarding student achievement.
