Job summary

Grand Hyatt Dubai is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for its waterpark facilities. The role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance on waterpark equipment, pools, filtration, and related systems to ensure safety and reliability.

You will respond to emergencies, read technical manuals, and document maintenance activities in the CMMS. Candidates should have a Diploma or Technical Certification in engineering and at least 2 years in a similar hospitality maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance of waterparks, swimming pool systems, hospitality facilities, or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and water treatment systems, including pumps, motors, filtration equipment, and control panels.
• Good understanding of safety procedures and regulatory requirements, with the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and on a rotational shift schedule when required.
• Must be willing and able to work outdoors throughout the entire shift in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on waterpark FM equipment, building systems, FLS, water-based features, slides, and pools with high safety standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime and disruption.
• Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and work orders; diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test, troubleshoot, and adjust as required.
• Monitor and maintain water quality systems, including filtration, chemical dosing, and circulation equipment, in compliance with safety standards.
• Record all maintenance work in the computerized maintenance management system and conduct preventive maintenance per schedules.

Summary

Key responsibilities:

• To perform all routine maintenance and repairs on waterpark - including FM equipment, building, FLS systems, water-based features, activities, slides, and pools - with the highest safety standards, in accordance with international water safety regulations and local authority guidelines.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, and work orders to perform required maintenance and services. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, troubleshoot, and adjust whenever required.
• Monitor and maintain water quality systems, including filtration, chemical dosing, and circulation equipment, in compliance with safety and health standards.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to approved schedules and accurately record all maintenance work in the computerized maintenance management system.
