Job summary

Accor is seeking a Pool Technician - Water Systems Maintenance in Dubai, UAE for the hotel’s Engineering department. The role maintains swimming pools, water fountains, pump stations and related equipment while protecting water quality, guest safety and preventive maintenance standards.

Ideal candidates hold a diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical or Electrical studies and have at least three years in pool maintenance or a related engineering role; luxury hotel experience is a plus,

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical or Electrical studies.
• Minimum 3 years in pool maintenance or a related engineering role.
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pools, water features and pump stations to ensure reliable operation.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on pumps, filtration and lighting.
• Add approved pool chemicals following Pool Supervisor guidance.
• Test and record water chemistry daily; flag abnormal readings.
• Coordinate on-site maintenance staff and assist Pool Attendants as needed.
• Ensure health, hygiene and safety standards across all aquatic facilities.
