Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Dubai is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team responsible for maintenance, capital projects, and technical initiatives across the property.

You will supervise technicians and contractors, plan preventive and corrective maintenance, evaluate costs, inspect plant rooms and life-safety systems, and ensure strict adherence to HSEQ standards while coordinating with internal departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or related).
• Minimum 6-7 years of relevant engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, maintenance, and asset management.
• Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Good understanding of HSE regulations, quality standards, and risk management processes.
• Proficiency in engineering software, CMMS systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional engineering certification or PMP or equivalent is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and maintenance operations.
• Supervise engineering technicians and tradespersons, ensuring safety and quality.
• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance and capital projects.
• Conduct inspections of plant rooms and life safety systems, reporting issues.
• Coordinate activities with internal departments, contractors, and external service providers.
