Job summary

The Lana - Dorchester Collection, hired through Hosco in Dubai, seeks an Assistant Chief Engineer to lead the hotel’s engineering operations and maintenance program. You will supervise the engineering team, coordinate with contractors, and ensure adherence to safety standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will work under the guidance of the Director of Engineering to implement preventive maintenance and asset management strategies that align with Dorchester Collection

Qualifications

• Experience supervising an engineering team and contractors.
• Ability to coordinate maintenance with hotel operations to ensure guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient operation of the hotel property and all equipment maintenance.
• Supervise an engineering team and contractors; oversee subordinate managers and supervisors.
• Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
• Lead small CAPEX projects from scope through budgeting, execution and handover.
• Collaborate with operational departments to minimize disruption from maintenance activities.
• Advise senior management on engineering support, energy controls and efficiency.
