Job summary

Client of ArchiBat HR in Dubai seeks an Engineering Audit Manager to strengthen its Internal Audit function. The role oversees technical and construction audits across active development projects and liaises with site teams and authorities in Arabic.

You will review design, procurement, and site execution, assess cost controls and variations, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and building codes. Strong communication in Arabic and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction/engineering audit or related roles.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulatory framework.
• Professional certification such as PMP or CCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit technical and construction processes across active development projects.
• Review contracts, designs, procurement, and site execution for compliance.
• Assess cost controls, variation orders, and payment certifications.
• Evaluate compliance with UAE regulations and building codes.

The Role We are seeking an Engineering Audit Manager to join its Internal Audit function in Dubai responsible for reviewing technical and construction-related processes across active development projects Fluency in Arabic is required to liaise with site teams contractors and government authorities

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical and construction audits across development projects including design procurement and site execution phases
• Review contractor and consultant compliance with contract terms technical specifications and quality standards
• Assess project cost control variation orders and payment certifications against work completed
• Evaluate compliance with UAE construction regulations municipality requirements and building codes
• Conduct site visits to verify physical progress against reported completion and financial claims
• Identify risks related to project delays cost overruns and contractor performance
• Liaise in Arabic with site engineers contractors and relevant government regulatory bodies
• Present findings and recommendations to project management and Audit Committee

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in construction/engineering audit, project quality control, or QS roles within real estate/construction
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulatory framework
• Professional certification (e.g., PMP, CCP, or equivalent) preferred
