Job summary

PTD-Power Transmission & Distribution - IC in Dubai is seeking a Civil QA/QC professional with 5–15 years of site experience to lead quality assurance on construction projects. You will prepare and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), review Material Submittals, Method Statements, and Shop Drawings, and coordinate with consultants and site engineers.

You will conduct site quality inspections, raise NCRs, monitor concrete pouring and curing procedures,

Ensure all site activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Conduct material inspection and approval (cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, etc.).

Review and verifyMaterial Submittals,Method Statements, andShop Drawings.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site engineers for inspections.

Raise and closeNon-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

Conduct site quality inspections and prepare inspection reports.

Ensure proper execution of structural works (footings, columns, beams, slabs, etc.).

Check reinforcement as per approved drawings before concreting.

Witness field tests (slump test, cube test, soil compaction test, etc.).

Maintain quality records, checklists, and documentation.

Monitor concrete pouring activities and ensure curing procedures are followed.

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Identify quality issues and recommend corrective/preventive actions.

Conduct internal audits and site quality meetings.

Ensure calibration of equipment and testing instruments.

Monitor subcontractor performance and workmanship quality.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.

Ensure compliance with ISO standards (if applicable).

Assist in handing over completed works with proper documentation.
