elseco, a Dubai-based Lloyd’s coverholder, seeks an Energy Underwriting Support with 3+ years in insurance accounts and underwriting support. You will coordinate with Dubai-based underwriters, Client Advocates, and finance to ensure timely policy booking, documentation, and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or diploma in finance, mathematics or accounting; professional insurance qualification (eg. CII) preferred.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail in financial data and underwriting
• Proficiency with MS Office; Access/SQL/VBA add-ons are a plus; English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Handle underwriting accounting tasks: premium reconciliation, aging, and system updates.
• Support underwriters with contract documentation and data checks.
• Ensure data accuracy and currency in underwriting systems; train and guide team members.
• Book policies in the operating system and perform compliance checks.
• Prepare MI and reports for management meetings.
