I am working with a leading global insurance broker to support the continued growth of their Energy & Power team in Dubai.

As the team continues to develop, they are looking to speak with an experienced Energy & Power Broker interested in taking the next step in their career within the UAE market.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established international broking platform, work across complex energy risks and contribute to the continued development of the specialty insurance market in the Middle East.

The Role

As an Energy & Power Broker, you will work with clients and markets across the international energy sector, supporting the placement and development of specialist insurance programmes.

You will build strong relationships with clients, insurers and other market participants, while identifying opportunities to grow business across the Energy & Power portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop client relationships across the Energy & Power sector.
• Structure and place specialist insurance programmes across energy and power risks.
• Work closely with insurers and underwriters to negotiate terms and secure appropriate coverage.
• Develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships.
• Support the growth of the team's portfolio across the Middle East and international markets.
• Provide technical broking expertise and market insight across complex energy risks.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the wider business to deliver tailored solutions for clients.

About You

• Experience in Energy & Power insurance broking.
• Strong technical understanding of energy and power risks, with exposure to areas such as conventional power, renewables or related energy classes.
• Experience managing client relationships and negotiating with insurers.
• A commercially minded approach, with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• An interest in contributing to the continued growth of a specialist insurance team in Dubai.
• Open to relocating to the UAE, or already based in the region.
