Employee Relations Assistant (Temporary Position Only Until Feb 2014)
POSITION IS TEMPORARY UNTIL FEBRUARY 2014.
Employee Relations Onshore Activities
- Initiate for effective implementation of company policy and procedures and ensure all Onshore Employee Relations (ER) activities and processes are based on the stipulated policy guidelines.
- Assist the Senior Officer, and Officers Onshore in the whole employee relation processes in order to ensure employee satisfaction.
- Update employee leave records, arrange leave advance/salary, emergency leave, loans, allowances, educational assistance and update the employee data in the HR Access System. Also maintain monthly statistics report for all types of actions.
- Update new hire employee’s personal/compensation data into the system accurately and timely.
- Participate in contract renewal process for the special contracted employees.
- Participate in the preparation of the company's annual manpower budget as necessary.
- Initiate and maintain proper sick leave/medical records for all employees and arrange necessary medical examinations in coordination with Administration department. Also coordinate with ADNOC CMB for all kinds of medical issues/approval for the employees.
- Assist the appraisal process exercise.
- Prepare PA for necessary ER services. Also ensure the PA has been distributed to Payroll section and Finance department on time and the same is communicated with the user as necessary.
Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal departments & external entities.
Knowledge
- Secondary Education - completed a minimum of 12 years education.
- Minimum 4 years working experience, especially in a similar field of business activity.
Skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-aced office setting.
- Experience of planning and delivering employee relations initiatives.
- Self correspondence skills.
- Computer literate.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision; able to work under pressure.
- Time Management.
- Fluency in English Language.
