Job summary

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City seeks a Specialist Physician to deliver high quality evidence-based and patient-centered care. The post holder will exemplify clinical excellence within the Division and contribute to supervision and training of junior medical staff.

Responsibilities include supervising junior staff, ensuring policy adherence, participating in ward rounds, documenting clinical information, coordinating with other specialties, and providing on-call coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Special Certificate - Tier 1: required; no additional experience after board certification.
• Tier 2: minimum 2 years clinical experience post qualification in internationally accredited institute; UAE nationals and non-UAE nationals in HAAD-accredited residency programs.
• Tier 3: minimum 3 years clinical experience as Specialist post qualification in internationally accredited institute.

Responsibilities

• Supervise junior medical staff and share responsibility for patient care.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies on admissions, consultations, daily care, procedures, discharge and follow-up.

Education

Tier 1 Special Certificate

Tier 2 NLT 2 years clinical experience post qualification in internationally accredited institute

Tier 3 NLT 3 years clinical experience post qualification in internationally accredited institute
