Job summary

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City is seeking a Specialist Physician to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care. The role expects clinical excellence, supervision of junior staff, and active participation in divisions and training programs.

Under supervision of the Consultant Physician, you will diagnose and treat patients, maintain compliance with departmental policies, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives while supporting education and research activities within the division.

Qualifications

Special Certificate tiers define post-qualification experience requirements.
Post board certification is referenced for UAE Nationals and non-nationals.
Tier 3 requires 3+ years of specialist experience in an internationally accredited institute.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat patients according to established standards.
Supervise junior medical staff and share accountability for care.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies on admissions, consults, and follow-up.
Lead ward rounds and reassess inpatients and outpatients regularly.
Document clinical information accurately and timely.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to plan holistic care.
Coordinate with departments and ensure safe, quality patient care.
