Job summary

Flowdesk is seeking a highly motivated Financial Controller to lead monthly management reporting and annual statutory close across group entities. You will collaborate with the finance team and external advisers to ensure robust controls and accurate financial reporting.

Ideal candidates are fully qualified accountants with IFRS experience, strong auditing background, and proficiency with NetSuite, MS/Google tools, and English communication. This is an on-site role in Dubai, UAE.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Accountant with 5 years PQE.
• In-depth technical knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with audit engagements.
• Awareness of regulatory and compliance landscapes, crypto/trading context.
• Strong accounting systems knowledge, notably NetSuite.
• English language proficiency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently produce accurate monthly management accounts for assigned group entities.
• Ensure all financial elements are properly accounted for in a robust control environment.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, process invoices, reconcile statements, collect payments.
• Prepare and process journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Maintain general ledger, chart of accounts and supporting schedules.
• Document and strengthen accounting policies and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax obligations.
• Lead year-end statutory accounts and audits with external parties.
