Qualifications

• 12+ years corporate affairs or communications experience
• Experience advising executives and coordinating internal and external communications, including on social media
• Willingness and ability to travel within EMEA as required to support leaders, teams and business priorities
• Strong media network and proven ability in PR, stakeholder engagement, and issues or crisis management
• Experience operating across countries and cultures
• Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in a relevant second language is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Be the trusted Corporate Affairs advisor: Serve as the principal Corporate Affairs advisor to the EMEA President and UK Senior Vice President.
• Set the regional Corporate Affairs agenda: Translate EMEA business strategy into integrated Corporate Affairs priorities and plans.
• Lead the EMEA Corporate Affairs team: Set clear expectations and priorities for subregional business partners and regional roles.
• Provide overarching accountability: Remain accountable for the quality, alignment, timing and impact of Corporate Affairs work across EMEA.
• Support growth and build reputation: Shape a coordinated regional approach to positioning Worley around priority markets, customers, projects, capabilities and business development themes.
• Strengthen executive and employee comms: Build the visibility of the two leaders through clear narratives, speeches, talking points, stakeholder preparation and thought leadership.
• Lead issues and crisis preparedness: Maintain a regional view of the operating environment and lead the communications response to significant regional and UK issues and crises.
• Integrate specialist and local support: Bring together subregional partners, regional specialists, global centers of expertise, agencies and the Extended Communications Network.
• Measure and improve: Set meaningful measures for regional and subregional activity, evaluate contribution to business priorities, share insights with leaders and continuously improve the team’s approach.
