Job summary

Emirates Nature-WWF is seeking a senior communications leader to drive strategic communications and external engagement in the UAE. You will translate technical conservation work into accessible content while shaping messaging for executives and public affairs.

Authenticity, cross‑functional collaboration, and strong relationships with government bodies, NGOs, and partners are essential. Fluency in English and Arabic is required to write, edit, and translate effectively.

Qualifications

8–10 years of professional experience in strategic communications, public affairs, or PR.
Fluency in English and Arabic (essential for writing, editing, and translation).
Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience delivering integrated communications strategies and stakeholder engagement.
Experience managing external agencies and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and digital communications platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of strategic communications and external engagement agendas.
Translate complex conservation programmes and technical information into engaging communications.
Develop integrated communications campaigns to inspire behavioural change and public participation.
Partner with senior leadership to develop consistent messaging for executive communications and public affairs.
Build and maintain relationships with government entities, corporate partners, and international NGOs.
Manage communications budgets, resources, and external agencies.
Monitor reputation and implement crisis communication plans when required.
Oversee brand positioning and visual identity across all external channels.
