Job description

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced ELV Business Unit Head to lead and grow our Extra Low Voltage systems business, encompassing CCTV, Building Management Systems (BMS), Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, and Lighting Control. The ideal candidate combines strong technical project management expertise with commercial and business acumen, capable of driving P&L ownership, business development, technical delivery, and team leadership across the ELV portfolio. This is a leadership role requiring end-to-end ownership — from pre-sales and bid strategy through design, execution, and profitable project closure — while building long-term client relationships and expanding the ELV business line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Unit Leadership & P&L Ownership Own the P&L for the ELV business unit, driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost control. Develop and execute the annual business plan, budgets, and growth strategy for CCTV, BMS, Fire Alarm, Access Control, and Lighting verticals. Identify new market opportunities, service lines, and strategic partnerships to expand the ELV portfolio. Report business performance, forecasts, and risk assessments to senior leadership/board.
  • Business Development & Client Relationship Management Drive sales pipeline development for ELV projects across commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure segments. Build and maintain relationships with consultants, main contractors, developers, OEMs/vendors (CCTV, BMS, FA, ACS, lighting brands), and key clients. Lead bid strategy, proposal development, commercial negotiations, and contract closure. Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and vendor partnership discussions.
  • Technical Oversight Across ELV Disciplines Provide technical leadership and quality assurance across:CCTV/Surveillance systems (IP-based, analytics, VMS integration) BMS (HVAC integration, energy management, SCADA/BACnet/Modbus protocols) Fire Alarm Systems (addressable/conventional, compliance with NFPA/local civil defense codes) Access Control Systems (card/biometric access, integration with security systems) Lighting Control Systems (DALI, KNX, smart lighting integration) Review system designs, BOQs, technical submittals, and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client specifications. Oversee integration across systems (IBMS/converged platforms) to ensure interoperability.
  • Project & Program Management Oversee project execution across multiple concurrent ELV projects — ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Implement standardized project management frameworks (scheduling, risk management, resource planning, change management). Monitor project profitability, manage variations/claims, and resolve execution bottlenecks. Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards on all project sites.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team including project managers, design engineers, site engineers, and technicians. Build technical capability across all ELV verticals through training and certification programs. Drive performance management, resource planning, and succession planning within the unit.
  • Vendor & Supply Chain Management Manage relationships with OEMs and technology partners (e.g., Honeywell, Bosch, Hikvision, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Schneider, Lenel, HID, etc.). Negotiate pricing, partnership agreements, and ensure access to latest technologies. Evaluate and onboard new vendors/subcontractors as needed.
