Job summary

KONE Middle East, Turkey & Africa (KMTA) is seeking Maintenance Technicians with a service mindset to provide professional service to our customers in the UAE region. You will perform regular maintenance checks, attend call-outs, and work toward improving equipment safety and performance while ensuring clear on-site communication with customers.

Qualifications

• ITI/Vocational Certificate course /Diploma Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Automation streams or equivalent
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• Candidates with basic IT skills will be given a preference
• Candidates with basic digital foundation skills will be the right candidate for this position
• Minimum 5 years of solid Preventive Maintenance and Troubleshooting experience with a reputed elevator company is a must
• Having a valid GCC driving license is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Customer relationship management: Ensure customer satisfaction through quality of service and proactive, precise on-site communication (callout ETA, job performed, etc).
• Back reporting: Accurate, real-time reporting of work performed at the equipment level.
• Equipment safety & performance: Accountable for safety and performance of equipment.
• Site risks: Identify site risks and communicate them to the supervisor; take immediate on-site action when high-risk is identified.
• Escalation: Apply the escalation procedure for high-risk issues and identify unplanned service repairs based on equipment needs.
• Service operations: Manage end-users and site safety; follow maintenance instructions and safety guidelines during service visits; execute planned maintenance, callouts, and service repairs within schedule and quality standards; raise sales to supervisor; provide timely back reporting; submit timesheets; keep tools and van in good condition; update supervisor with relevant information.
