Job summary

Eaton in Dubai is seeking a Hardware Engineer – Product Development & Technical Documentation to design, validate, and sustain electronic hardware solutions for Life Safety and power management products in the EMEA region.

You will own the creation and maintenance of manuals, installation guides, and technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance across the product lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 4 years in electronic hardware design.
Experience with IEC/UL product standards.
Proven ability to create technical docs and manuals.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, validate and sustain electronic hardware solutions for EMEA Life Safety and power management products.
Own creation and release of user manuals, installation guides, maintenance instructions, service documentation, and technical specs.
Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and external suppliers to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.
Perform analog and digital circuit design, schematic capture, simulations, prototyping, and reliability validation.
Support product industrialization, manufacturing readiness, and production ramp-up.
Drive continuous improvement of documentation templates and processes.
