Job summary

Eaton in Dubai seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to develop standard reference designs for Commercial & Institutional Buildings, integrating Low/Medium Voltage, UPS, energy storage and Life Safety into cohesive offerings.

You will map sub-segments, create design guides and CAD drawings with BU engineers, translate concepts into tools for Sales, and support consultant programs to promote Eaton capabilities and drive customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power or IT engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in Commercial & Institutional Buildings with customer interactions.
• Solid knowledge of Energy/Power Distribution products, IEC codes and standards.
• Proficient with electrical design software; SCADA experience.
• 3D modeling software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Map target sub-segments and develop Reference Designs for Commercial & Institutional Buildings.
• Create design guides and CAD files to promote Eaton offerings.
• Develop and maintain a library of reference designs and applications.
• Collaborate with BU Product Managers to align roadmaps and gaps.
• Translate designs into visual tools with Marcom for sales enablement.
• Support Consultant Program to engage designers and consultants.
• Contribute to ongoing refinement of the reference design framework.
