Job summary

TALENTMATE is seeking an Electrical Technician in Dubai to conduct high and low voltage maintenance across site electrical systems, ensuring production schedules are met and plant compliance is maintained. The role emphasizes safety, CMMS familiarity, and timely reporting of work progress.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in the power industry, a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and HSE qualifications, with the ability to read electrical drawings and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• HSE accredited training qualifications.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience as an Electrician Technician in the power industry.
• Familiar with HSE standards, procedures, and requirements of electrical plant equipment.
• Knowledge of using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Windows-related software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain transformers, generators, HV/LV equipment and panels, pumps, conveyors, fans.
• Follow permit to work system, method statements and safety instructions.
• Read and follow electrical drawings, O&M manuals and relevant information.
• Update progress reports on work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain clean and safe work area, report incidents per channel.
• Ensure compliance with National and Local Electrical Codes and ISO standards.
