A prominent manufacturing company in Dubai is looking for a Maintenance Technician to manage electronic and electrical systems. You will design maintenance strategies, conduct routine maintenance, and ensure timely procurement of spare parts. Job description

Responsibilities and tasks vary from time to time, but you will be directly responsible for:

Maintenance Electronic / Electrical:

• Designing maintenance strategies (Preventive and Predictive), procedures and methods
• Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance / cleaning work and quickly respond to equipment faults
• Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
• Diagnosing breakdown problems and have preventive maintenance plans in place to avoid any breakdown
• Liaising with production colleagues to resolve all Electronic issues of Machines
• Ensure 1 Technician is trained in next 6 months to independently solve machine Electronic Issues

• Reports:
• Machine Timings – Daily
• Spare Part stocks and Ordering – Fortnightly
• Electrical / Electronic issue - Weekly

• Spare Parts:
• Ensure availability of all critical spares (Mechanical / Electronic/ Electrical) including all Fast Movers
• Monitor life of spare parts
• Ensure ordering of all spares on time
• Ensure local procurement of spares is done on time

• Ensure all ancillary equipment (Dust Recovery, Compressors, Generator, Pumps, Humidifiers etc) are in best operating condition both electrically / mechanically
• Ensure availability of maintenance tools and equipment
